Announcements – Sunday, January 29, 2023 – The Fourth Sunday after the Epiphany

The Sunday worship service at Afton UMC is at 11:00 a.m. A live stream of the service can be accessed in real time via the Afton UMC Facebook page OR at a later time, as the all the livestreamed worship services since March 15 are available on the Afton UMC Facebook page.

Please note: Masks for fully vaccinated people are no longer required.

The Afton UMC offering for the week of January 16-22 was $968. There were 19 adults and 3 children at the worship service on Sunday, January 22nd. Thank you to all who are continuing to give either by placing your offering in the offering plate on Sunday morning or by sending offerings to the Northumberland Charge office at P.O. Box 579 Burgess VA  22432, ATTN: Afton Financial Secretary.

As of February 6, 2022, the Afton Parking Lot Fund balance is $7,600.

The Northumberland Charge is open to visitors during regular office hours (Tuesday – Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.).
